Food and Drink at The Olive Branch
Sean and his team have been working on some great new dishes for the winter menus which now feature on our party menus and on the lunch and dinner menus.
We source local and seasonal produce. At this time of the year as winter sets in. We have a wonderful selection of game from local woods and estates, with vegetables and winter salads from the lincolnshire wolds, foraged berries and fruits from the local hedgerows. As well as the first crop of winter vegetables (sprouts, brocolli & chard) from our new kitchen garden and of course great cheeses, milk and yoghurt from local dairies including Cropwell Bishop and Sparkenhoe Red Leicester.
There is also superb Mackerel and Seabream from Devon and wonderful Hake, Cod, Sole, Plaice and Turbot from Newhaven delivered to our door every morning.
Sean also makes regular trips to local farm, and Billingsgate and New Covent Garden markets to find other seasonal ingredients which often appear as specials alongside our other menu's.
