Australian producer Philip Shaw is a multi-award-winner who’s been making top-quality wines for more than four decades. He approaches winemaking with a healthy mix of innovation and unrelenting attention to detail!
He makes his wines in a very hands-on manner from fruit grown in his 46-hectare Koomooloo Vineyard in Orange, New South Wales – a cool-climate site rising to an altitude of 900m.
These wines offer real elegance and purity of varietal character. The Philip Shaw Character Series is named for the key aspects of a winemaker’s personality as he crafts a wine each year – be it dreamer, architect, high-wire-walker or idiot!
