A wonderful place at Christmas...
The Olive Branch is a traditional village inn with Christmas trees and sparkling decorations, log fires and candlelit dining rooms. We will be open for lunch and dinner throughout the festive season, offering a feast of different menus and seasonal drinks up until the 30th (apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day evening when we'll be taking a rest!). We are open for lunch only on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Christmas Shop – Stuck for Christmas present ideas? Come and browse our wine store and shop. There will be a selection of great foodie and home gift ideas. Plus, we have gift vouchers which you can exchange for an Olive Branch meal, stay or experience.
Festive Menus – We'll be serving our festive menus as well as our seasonal lunch and dinner menus throughout December. They are full of festive dishes with a twist, created using the very best local ingredients. You can choose from a five-course menu at lunchtime (excluding Sundays) and a seven-course menu in the evenings, plus coffee and treats.
Christmas Parties – The run-up to Christmas can be just as special as Christmas itself – a time to celebrate with colleagues, clients, friends and of course family. We have a selection of festive menus to suit every occasion, from a relaxing dinner party to a merry pub knees-up. With rooms across the road, we can accommodate guests who have too far to travel. We can even offer an exclusive 'house party'.
Christmas Day – CLOSED – We are closed on Christmas Day but will be open as usual on Christmas Eve for lunch and dinner.
Boxing Day Lunch – A relaxing lunch with open fires and a three-course menu. Book a table between 12 and 4pm. £82.50 per head. Our luxurious Good Hotel Guide Cesar Award-winning accommodation at Beech House is available to book if you would like to join us for a late lunch followed by a peaceful evening. Please note the pub will be closed from 6pm that evening.
New Year's Eve Lunch – Enjoy a leisurely lunch with us. Book a table between 12 and 4pm. We will be closing at 6pm on New Year's Eve. Our luxurious bedrooms at Beech House are also available to book if you would like to join us for a late lunch followed by a relaxing evening. Please note the pub will be closed from 6pm that evening.
New Year's Day Lunch – We will be open for lunch on Thursday, January 1 and are serving our a la carte menu. Book a table between 12 and 4pm. Call us on 01780 410355.
