Hosted by one of our great wine suppliers and often a guest winemaker.
We create a seven course menu drawing upon the characteristics of a region or season and working along with Ben and our wine supplies we match the food and the wine.
The kitchen team will prepare and cook all the dishes and we'll introduce the dishes and explain our thoughts behind the inspiration and creation of each dish. Ben and our wine suppliers will match some really interesting wines to these dishes, and will present and discuss the wines offering on the evening.
The evening starts at 7pm in the bar and an opportunity to meet and mingle with other guests. At 7.30 we all go into the ‘Barn’ for the dinner with wines to accompany each course. The wines are introduced by Ben, who will be happy to answer any questions.
It is probably best to have booked a taxi home, you are welcome to leave your car here overnight or book one of our 6 luxurious rooms at Beech House.
We are sure you will have an enjoyable evening, with good food, great wines and convivial company, and hopefully you will have learned something about the magic of wine.
