Meet Beverly Tabbron: A Wine Virtuoso

Beverly, a King's College London alumna who earned her Master of Wine in 1996, has since led purchasing at Hallgarten & Novum, focusing on their French portfolio. At this special event, she'll unveil a collection of wines that spotlight lesser-known regions and producers, offering exceptional value as alternatives to more renowned—and often pricier—vintages.

A Rare Opportunity

Beverly is among just 409 individuals globally to hold the Master of Wine title and stands out as one of 143 women in this elite group. Her role extends beyond selection; she's also a founder of the training and education team at Hallgarten & Novum, sharing her knowledge with colleagues and customers.

Our kitchen team is preparing a menu that promises to enhance the flavours of Beverly's handpicked wines. This dinner is about tasting wine but also about experiencing how food and wine combine to create something truly special.

The evening starts in the Barn at 7pm an opportunity to meet and mingle with other guests. At 7.30 we all sit down for dinner, around the Barn table or on individual tables in the pub if you prefer, with wines to accompany each course.

It is probably best to have booked a taxi home. However, you are welcome to leave your car here overnight or book one of our six luxurious rooms at Beech House.

We are sure you will have an enjoyable evening, with good food, great wines and convivial company, and hopefully you will have learned something about the magic of wine.
