Blend - 60 % Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir with 3 years of bottle ageing.

Producer - Champagne Jean de Villaré is family-owned and run, located in the Vallée de la Marne, where Pinot Meunier is king. 38 hectares, planted on some of the very best sites of the Marne Valley. The marl, clay and sandy soils of the valley provide the perfect home for Pinot Meunier.
Daughter Sophie joined in 1982, followed by son Ignace in 1992 who now run the company jointly. 100% of their own grape supply. Modern, high specification cellar equipment allows for the gentle, yet quick, handling of fruit that is so essential in the safeguarding of the typicité of their various vineyard plots. This provides the blending options the family seek in order to create their cuvées.
